Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Food For The Soul!

When I was a little girl, my fondest memories are witnessing my mother's strong relationship with her two sisters, Aunt Nancy, the youngest (who lived in Chicago, Illinois) and Aunt Velma, the eldest (who lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana). Aunt Velma was the lively, stylish sister and aunt Nancy was the brightest, but Thelma, my mom, the middle sister was the home maker with the home that everyone would always visit when in Chicago. Worth noting, the one thing that the three sisters’ shared is their passion for cooking! Aunt Velma's creole gumbo was the best; aunt Nancy's baking was top notch, but mom could do it all - creole, soul food, and desserts, mom was the master of it all "Um, Um Good"! In fact, food brought the family together! Therefore, when celebrating the festive holiday season, no matter where in the world, have fun, celebrate family and food, and always remember that in today's fast-paced world, spending quality time at the dinner table with family is the true meaning of the holiday season.
No dieting during Xmas. I'm just saying...
