Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Music is the Key!

My favorite artist
Years ago, I had the opportunity to visit the wonderful island of Jamaica. I can remember staying at the Wyndam Rose Hotel in Montego Bay, and participating in lots of water sports, eating jerk chicken, having the biggest crush on a professional ball player, and falling in love with reggae music! Since my initial visit, I have come to love so many reggae artist, and I look forward to the summertime in Chicago, attending the outdoor festivals, and of course returning to 'Sun Fest" in Jamaica. I consider Jamaica one of the most memorable times I have experienced in life, and my professional ball player (A.R.) not only turned me on to the best coffee from "Blue Mountain" in Jamaica, but he turned me onto some of the most talented reggae artist on the planet. However, my favorite reggae artist is the talented Bob Marley. Like so many, I too, fell in love with Mr. Marley. In fact, I can remember purchasing my first Bob Marley record as an undergrad in college. Fast forward years later, and I am still listening to Bob Marley, except I am in graduate school. Thank you Bob Marley for staying up late with me as I study for an exam, or read several 'boring' chapters of OPS. In addition, thanks (A.R., loml), for introducing me to the most soothing, and inspirational music-reggae (lol). Is not life a mystical, magical, adventure that gives us two options, play or sit on the side lines? I ask the question: " Why does life come back around full circle, only to remind us what is truly important?"
