Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Music...Heals the Soul

Happy Holidays everybody! I have not had the desire to write since the passing of Mayday, my Cocker Spaniel. I am mourning, and I miss her so much, but I know that she is in heaven. Nevertheless, when I feel sad I listen to the music of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Patsy Kline, Otis Redding, Sade, Bob Marley, John Legend, Amy Winehouse, and my new favorite, Adele! In fact, every 20 years or so, there comes a transformational artist that transcends, age, race, gender, culture, and so on. Artist, as the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Elvis, possess the soulful, blues voices that I like to call "raw silk". Unfortunately, this artist may only grace the spirit for such a short time because just as God had something unique for Mayday to do, so to, a plan for the earth angels with the silky voices.

Today, I would like to think of the artists who raise the consciousness of the listener to ACT. Talents like Amy Winehouse (RIP) and the incredible Adele. Thanks ladies, for inspiring me...to write again.

Check out the silky voice of Adele (#1 album of 2011’).
