Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Live...Not Merely Exist

Happy Friday! Each day I wake up excited to embark upon a new journey; but my daily to-do-list keep increasing, and of course there is never enough time in the day to complete all the tasks. Nevertheless, I think that is enough proof that one must live their life as if it is your last day on earth. I ask the question: "Do you work to live, or live to work?" If the answer is the latter, the following six suggestions are meant to help you start to live, and not just merely exist.

Fall in love. It is nice to have alone time as long as you are not lonely. However, I believe finding your soul mate, and falling in love is the #1 reason to live. Don't take my word for it, ask my parents. They have been married for 57 years and they are loving life, especially since mom is now cancer free. :)

Take chances. The only difference between success and failure is that successful people take chances, and people who fail give up.

Find your passion. First, ask yourself what you love to do. Second, ask yourself if you're good at what you love to do. Last, ask yourself can you make a living doing it (unless you are independently wealthy).

Travel. Learn a new language/culture and then take off! There is a big world out there with plenty of people waiting to greet and meet you. Paris in the spring anybody? How about an African safari? In the words of NIKE...just do it!

Stop watching the news. It sickens me to watch the insulting journalism in today's programming. The 24 hour news (views) on television today is on a mission to DUMMY down society. Enough already. Turn it off! Get out, and go make a difference to leave a legacy in the world.

*Stay positive. Repeat after me, "NO NEGATIVITY IN MY SPACE!"

Okay, I know what you are thinking, "Eunece, it takes money." You are absolutely correct. However, you do not have to wait until you have saved millions to do at least one of the suggestions above. I'm just saying...
