Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Who Ever Said, "Nice Guys Don't Finish First?"

My friend 'Sammie'

I met Sam (Sammie), while practicing real estate years ago. His European style and enchanting English accent was extremely agreeable. Consequently, once I got past the charm, I soon learned that he was a fitness expert, a world traveler, a real estate maven, entrepreneur, but also noteworthy, my friend. A creative mind and one who I want to say is 'the play maker'; which is a befitting right since he is an ex-soccer player in terrific shape. We became friends and worked on several projects/deals together. I cannot imagine how many hours the both of us have brainstormed on ways of creating businesses, or jokingly played the lottery. In fact, we have a weekly ritual of meeting up for Starbucks coffee, and even when I tell him "Sammie, my treat, he always volunteers to pay." A true gentleman and someone that one needs to have as a friend because of his intellect, generous spirit, loyal disposition, and outgoing personality. I cannot count on one hand the number of times that I have called him to discuss my MBA classes that he has told me, "Hang in there E!" His encouraging words and patience while I ranted and raved about accounting or finance, are truly appreciated, and even though he is miles away from home (England/Wales), "Mi Casa, Su Casa." I ask the question, "who ever said that nice guys do not finish first?" Memo to the press, this guy is 'first-class.' That is my good friend Sammie!
