Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Keep Your 'Eye' On The Prize!

Good, better, best!

I started my blog on March 5, 2011 and went publicly shortly thereafter. My MBA journey is an accomplishment that I have pondered for many years. Therefore, good, unpleasant or indifferent, it is my story, and I am sticking with it. I wanted to write about my experiences in the MBA program. However, I would be remiss if I did not blog about my past, leading up to my MBA pursuit. Therefore, elementary, high school, college, and my adult life were significant enough to highlight. Conversely, I wanted to expound upon my family, friends, and the remarkable people that have come into, and out of my life. After all, remember, "People can teach you two things in life what to do, and what not to do." As such, I have three thoughts of wisdom to share: "stay focused, keep your eye on the prize, and abandon the word 'CAN'T', out of your vocabulary." Is this a cliché? Well, look at it this way, great athletes like Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Derek Jeter have one thing in common, (apart from being handsome men) lol...all of them are winners! Suffice to say, by staying focused, keeping your eye on the prize, and removing negativity (and all its' components) are not clichés! In fact, they are what differentiate mediocre from acclaimed. I ask the question: "what's the true meaning behind the cliché, 'many are called, few are chosen'?"
