However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. The POTUS: African Americans...Stop Complaining!

The President spoke at the Congressional Black Caucus dinner last night and said, "African Americans, take off your bedroom slippers, stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying, and go fight." I ask the question: "Mr. President, would you tell the Palestinians who are fighting for a state, or the Latinos who are fighting for immigration reform, to stop complaining, stop grumbling, stop crying, take off your bedroom slippers, and just fight?" What an insulting, condescending speech! The African American community is faced with "depression level" unemployment rates, not entirely all your fault, but where is the compassion? Perhaps the next time you golf with former President Clinton, demonstrating compassion might be a hot topic! Conversely, as I stated in several posts back...YOU NEED TO FIRE SOME PEOPLE ON YOUR STAFF, starting with whom ever wrote your speech! Nonetheless, since the POTUS seems to have a hard time connecting with African Americans, one might want to tell his wife (Michelle) to read his speech before addressing African Americans!!!!

Sorry Mr. President, "damned if you do, and damned if you do not." However, Barack Obama signed on for the job, and it is a paying job with plenty of perks, so do not dare complain! lol
I'm just saying...
