If You Enjoy Musicals...Check out "For The Boys"

If you want something fun to do this holiday weekend, check out a musical! For the Boys, to run August 17 - October 16 (At the Marriott Theatre, Lincolnshire, Illinois). I attended a Friday show with a good friend, and I was pleasantly pleased. Based on the Oscar nominated movie starring Bette Midler and James Caan, the musical is set in the 1940's and follows a big-band singer (Dixie Leonard) and her entertainer partner (Eddie Sparks). The pair electrified the USO circuit with their chemistry and stage presence, and the American  troops enjoyed watching their comedic timing. Conversely, the pair did it all "For the boys!"
