Is Age-Discrimination Real?


Has this happened to you?

Is age discrimination for real, or not? Let us just say, it is quite "pervasive"... "Um, sorry Mr. or Ms. (candidate), you are not an acceptable "fit" for the culture." Ever happen? Fortunately, because of the pervasiveness of age-discrimination, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) of 1967 creates a legal safeguard for 40+ individuals. Unfortunately, America is aging, and although this issue may not apply to the young today, what about tomorrow at the age of 40, and at the height of ones career? I ask the question, "Do you consider employment discrimination of any form "immoral". Are there not enough jobs to go around?" Whether one agrees or not, there are a few things to do if in this situation.
