The President's Plan...Your Move Congress!

This is the President that I elected!

The President methodically laid out his "American Jobs Act" to spur economic growth, and give a $447 billion package to include billions to schools, infrastructure and tax credits to businesses to hire workers unemployed for six months or greater. In doing so, the plan would aid state and local government, hire teachers, and kick start transportation projects. In addition, the President focused on the need to hire veterans, and businesses would receive a tax credit up to $5600. Last, and most important is the extension of unemployment insurance. As such, the President consistently asked Congress to "Pass it now."

I ask the question: "What will Congress do?" Like any great chess game, the next move falls in the hands of our elected officials in Congress. The goal, capture the "Queen" and the American people are the pawns in the game.  Thankfully, we the pawns have an opportunity to capture the queen...at the election booth in 2012!
