Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

What kind of Nation will we be remembered as?

A couple of months ago, in March '11 to be exact, I opined about how my parents had afforded me the opportunity for a good education.  In fact, I can remember my father working two jobs to support a wife and six kids. Fortunately, my parents have since retired, and I am quite blessed that my parents were here to witness me receiving my MBA a couple of weeks ago. As such, I am quite disappointed to hear that our government is considering cutting social security for the elderly, disabled, and poor. Therefore, I submit to the GOVERNMENT'..."Please do not touch SS!" I, like many other daughters and sons of America, cannot imagine the greatest country in the WORLD taking advantage of the millions of seniors, disabled, and poor. Conversely, I think we are better than that, and whether you are a liberal, conservative, or moderate (like myself), I pray that the Congress, and the White House do the right thing (DON'T MESS WITH SOCIAL SECURITY)! I ask the question: "Will robbing our seniors, disabled, and poor help the deficit/debt ceiling?" I think not, and I can guarantee you if the government does dibble and dabble on the backs of seniors, disabled, and poor, there will be HELL to pay come election day! Take a look at the following site to educate yourself on the issue. If you are passionate about this issue, as I am, send a message to your local congress people. In addition, since we elected President Obama to lead the nation, send him a message as well..."Do not use our seniors, disabled, and poor to help the wealthy." This is not a political issue, but rather a moral issue!
