Yesterday, as I sat in my favorite coffee shop in the South Loop, I met an artist from New York (by way of Ethiopia), Elisabeth Atnafu. Elisabeth and I chatted about life, real estate, and of course art! I quickly learned how talented she was in artistry, as well as storytelling. In fact, after graduating from Howard University, Elisabeth moved to New York, only to begin a very successful art career. I am honored to have met such a talent...Welcome to Chicago, my sister!
Check out her world renowned masterpieces, and always remember that the door to creativity, and expression is within. I ask the question: "Why is art important?"
