Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

My Sorority!

S.S. F.B.I., Illinois State University, Gamma Rho Chapter
Last, but never forgotten (in my series of girlfriends), are four beautiful individuals that I had the priviledge of pledging a sorority with in college. In fact, we will celebrate our anniversary next month (27 years), and we are still friends, sorors, and sisters for life. I met Leslie, Lavonne, and Shanne at Illinois State University in 1984. Four effervescent young women, striving to be a part of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., founded in 1922. We pledged for 13 weeks, and formed an unbreakable union. The 30+ women who initiated us into the organization (especially my family sisters), I respect, admire, and hold dear and near in my heart. Unfortunately, I cannot say too much about our pledge period (as I would have to kill you if the information were to be released)...lol
Let's just say, being apart of SGR made me the woman I am today. I have met (and MADE), a lot of talented, intelligent, beautiful Sigma's. I think the fondest memory that I have, is when we would perform in 'step shows.' Needless to say, 'our performances were always memorable, creative, never boring, and we took no prisoner's'...(lol). I am honored to say eeeeeeeeeeyip! I ask the question: "are the younger sorors today, keeping the tradition of 'taking no prisoner's?" The answer is YES! Check out this amazing footage of my 'bluetiful' sorors performing at a step show (and they won!)...
