Welcome to My Journey, I am Eunece V. Franklin, and this is "A Day in the Life of." I started my journey by "blogging" about my MBA pursuit (with an emphasis in Marketing). However, I have achieved that goal, and now invite you to follow me on my career journey. I am quite excited about the various opportunities that exist, and I would like to thank my parents, siblings, and friends, for their unwavering support. I invite you to follow me on this adventure as I continue to nourish my intellectual curiosity and open the doors for you to sneak a peek in, "A Day in the Life."

Journey's in life!

"good friends pick up where they left off"
I often wonder why good friends lose contact with one another over the years. In fact, I recently connected with a college friend, and it was so good to reminisce about our past, present, and future journeys in life. Sybil, my college friend, is an amazing woman. She is extremely attractive, super tall, with the longest legs imaginable, and we became friends while attending Illinois State University. After college, we both came back to Chicago to seek employment, and realized how small the city had gotten. Conversely, we decided that we would gather a few close girlfriends to live, learn, and discover the world. Moreover, see what gorgeous
MEN, existed in the world! (lol). We traveled to the most exotic places, like Aruba, Jamaica, Brazil, and the Bahamas; not to mention our domestic trips to New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. Wow!  It seems like a lifetime ago, but we met some amazing people along our journeys in life. Yet, these two vivacious girls...who vowed to conquer the world after college, lost contact over the years, and why? My only explanation is that we allow 'life' to control too much of our being. Nevertheless, I am sure it is common to lose contact with your oldest and dearest friends, only to reconnect later in life. As such, I ask the question: “is it a common occurrence to lose good friends, only to reconnect later in life?”
*This week, I will dedicate each blog to special friendships that I have formed in my lifetime...stay tuned!!
